Although she believes she's atheists, my father was trying to convince her to go temple with my mother. This is so she is able to learn how to honour the death of relavites. Even though she refused, my parents are still going to convince her and my other older sister because, the time they pass away, theres a special time each year where we have to set up food for the ghost of our relatives\/parents. And if we do not do this, the ghosts of our family will be starving, therefore we would have to pay respect.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"14004759","body":"Well i guess what your parents are trying to do is right, because i remember doing this how you have to set up food and stuff for them to eat and light up incent for them every year and burning paper clothes and money. However I have heard about being reborn into such things like animals. That's quite scary, imagine being like a dog...<br \/>\nThe karma thing is a bit like every other religion, for example Catholics believe that God will reward them in heaven if they do good and if they do bad things they go to hell. For example, my mother had told me that one of our relatives had past away, and then had been born through one of our other cousin who was just about to give birth. So I'm going to just try live it to my hearts desire rather than wait for the next one! I heard alot about it from my mum, other parents and people from the temple for example monks and nuns when they were telling me stories and showed me videos of bad people and how they become in the next life and what happens to them when they die.
