Unfortunately, I was absent on the 29th of July and I was unable to witness Boori Pryors attend my school.
This was disappointing for me because I would have enjoyed the presentation and would have encouraged me to learn more about Aboriginal culture and religion. Although I did hear people talk about their experience with Boori, aka "Monty", and it sounded very intriguing and very entertaining. I hear that Boori has his own range of novels that talk about his life as an Indigenous Australian and I will certainly pick up a copie and read the material closely and study his story through the novel. Again, I feel really sad about missing out on his talk. .
